Echo Interval Analysis: Comparative Study of Two Independent Readings

A full comparative analysis of the CASE-0005 and CASE-0016 readings, undertaken jointly by Ward and Achterberg despite their disagreement over interpretation — the first document to attempt a shared conclusion.

Abstract

This record analyzes two anachronistic instrument readings recorded at unconnected sites eleven weeks apart. Both readings anticipate a triggering signal by an interval that does not correlate with instrument error, environmental interference, or clock drift. The study does not propose a mechanism. It proposes a measurement standard.

Method

Achterberg's calibration protocol was applied retroactively to the CASE-0005 instrument and the original field instrument logged under CASE-0016. Both logs, run through Data Integrity's independent verification chain, returned intervals within the same statistical band despite the instruments being of different make and the sites being separated by an undisclosed distance.

Evidence Log

Log A — CASE-0005 instrument, interval +00:11:00 (approx.), verified twice.
Log B — CASE-0016 instrument, interval +00:11:00 (approx.), verified twice.
Log C — control instrument, interval 00:00:00, no anomaly, run for comparison at Achterberg's request.

Conflicting Interpretations

Ward's working conclusion: the interval is a fixed property of whatever is producing the readings, not of the sites or the instruments — meaning the source is not local to either case.

Achterberg's working conclusion: two matching intervals are not yet a pattern; they are a coincidence with unusually good documentation. She has recommended a third case before either conclusion is filed as findings.
