Preliminary Notes on Anachronistic Instrument Readings

An internal research note proposing that anachronistic readings across several unrelated cases share a common structure rather than a common cause — the first document to use the working name later shortened to Echo Protocol.

Archive record

Abstract

Reviewing CASE-0005 alongside earlier incidents at Marrow and the Threshold crossing, this note proposes treating every anachronistic reading as one signal sampled at different points, rather than as independent phenomena requiring separate explanations.

Contributors

Filed by PER-0019 under Temporal Research supervision. The note has not yet been promoted to a formal program file.

Open Questions

The note does not attempt to explain why the readings precede their causes, only that they appear to do so consistently enough to warrant a shared framework. [REDACTED]
